Don Julio Alma Miel Joven Tequila

Continuing Don Julio González’s his legacy of living Por Amor to craft only the exceptional, Tequila Don Julio pays homage to the heart and soul of tequila with the introduction of Tequila Don Julio Alma Miel, a blend of Blanco tequila distilled with oven-roasted agave honey and Añejo tequila that has been aged at least 14 months and finished in Crémant du Limoux casks from the Limoux region of France. This new, permanent addition to the brand’s luxury portfolio is lusciously smooth and slightly sweet, bringing out the heart and soul of each moment.

PRODUCTION

Tequila Don Julio Alma Miel blends Blanco tequila distilled with oven-roasted agave honey and Añejo tequila which has been aged for at least 14 months and finished in Crémant du Limoux casks from the Limoux region of France. The result is an extraordinary tequila with slightly sweet notes of agave honey, spiced orchard fruit, creamy caramel, and rich roasted agave creating a lusciously smooth tequila. We call this our our Enmelado process which means to make something sweeter. 

ORIGIN

Tequila Don Julio uses only the choicest, fully matured and ripened blue agave hand-selected from the rich clay soils of the Los Altos region, using the same standards of production that Don Julio González set when he first followed his heart and revolutionized the tequila category.
